On Tuesday, January 23, a presentation of the city circuit project, where the Spanish Grand Prix is expected to move, will take place in Madrid. Of course, no one is yet officially talking about signing a contract with Madrid to organize the race, but the organizers are hinting at it in every possible way.
The urban circuit will be constructed on the territory of the IFEMA exhibition complex. A section with the self-explanatory name F1 has appeared on the official website of the kit. The section is not yet filled with information, but already has a countdown timer that expires on January 23 at 12:30 Moscow time.
It is at this point that we will learn the further fate of the Spanish Grand Prix and most likely see the official layout of the new circuit.
However, not everyone is enthusiastic about the coming changes. Many fans on social networks are afraid that the Formula 1 calendar will leave the track in the outskirts of Barcelona.
