Some time ago, Haas’ press office turned to fans with the proposal to send questions to Kevin Magnussen. The team chose the most interesting options from the submitted options, asked Kevin them and published their answers on social networks.
Q: What are your three favorite songs?
Kevin Magnussen: Monaco, Suzuka and Spa.
Q: Who do you like most on the Haas team?
Kevin Magnussen: Gunther Steiner is my boss. He is great!
Q: Which race do you like more: day or night?
Kevin Magnussen: I like night races. I have already spent many night races, but so far they seem unusual to me.
Q: What was the most difficult for you while preparing for a return to Formula 1?
Kevin Magnussen: Neck training. In fact, the neck cannot be properly trained outside of a race car. The best training is driving a Formula 1 car, the neck training was the hardest for me. I still feel my neck.
Q: Earlier you said you love to sail on a yacht. Have you thought about trying water racing after finishing your Formula 1 career?
Kevin Magnussen: On a yacht I like to move slowly, relax and drink wine.
Q: Would you be happy if your daughter decides to take up motorsport?
Kevin Magnussen: I would rather she didn’t start a career in motorsport, because this is a dangerous profession. But if she chooses to race, I will support her.
Q: What are your favorite cities in Denmark?
Kevin Magnussen: My hometown is Roskilde. I grew up in it, my family is there, most of my friends are there.
I also like Copenhagen where I live. Great city with beautiful architecture. The smallest big city I come from. In a way, Copenhagen is quite quiet, but many interesting events take place there. I highly recommend to visit.
