Speedcafe published the salaries of Formula 1 drivers in 2024. The figures are unofficial, bonus payments at the end of the season and advertising contracts can significantly increase revenues.
In 2024, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen will have the highest salaries in Formula 1: $55 million. Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris achieved significant salary increases by extending their contracts with Ferrari and McLaren respectively. The Monegasque will earn at least $30 million next season, the British racer $25 million.
World champion Fernando Alonso has a relatively modest salary – in 2024 he will earn five million dollars – the same as Pierre Gasly and Kevin Magnussen, but less than, for example, Esteban Ocon and Valtteri Bottas.
