Haas is the first Formula 1 team to introduce the 2024 car. On social networks, the team published several renderings of the VF-24 and a one-minute video.
The press office did not provide technical details about the new product, but confirmed a test drive on February 11 at Silverstone. Nico Hulkenberg will be the first to pilot the VF-24.
Gen Haas, Team Owner: “I’m looking forward to seeing the VF-24 on the track and during the race. This expectation is shared by our partners and the entire team. We have a great driver duo in Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen and their experience will be invaluable as we plan to develop the car throughout the year.
We use the off-season to refine our processes and ultimately get better. We will know soon how things stand.”
Ayo KomatsuTeam boss: “We are realistic in our expectations for the VF-24 at the start of the season, but the unveiling of the new car remains an exciting moment. We still have a lot of work to do to make progress and improve results, but everyone on the team is extremely motivated and eager to see the VF-24 on the track.
I know that in Bahrain we will conduct tests as efficiently as possible to test different technical solutions. We can’t wait to get going and start the season.”
