The Aston Martin team remembered the upcoming presentation of the AMR24, the new car that Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll will race this year, but did it in their own way.
A selection of different photos, both interesting and mysterious, appeared on the team’s official website. However, the necessary explanation is given for each photo, but here is the text of this publication:
“A Formula 1 car is an amalgamation of the most modern technologies, engineering and design solutions. But what you see on the track or on television is not the whole story related to its creation.
Building a Formula 1 car requires more than 15,000 parts, carefully designed and produced, and over the course of an entire season 27,000 of these parts will be needed.
This is a kind of three-dimensional puzzle, the fruit of painstaking work, all the elements of which fit perfectly. In a sport where milliseconds separate success from failure, extreme precision and maximum composure are required.
The presentation of the AMR24, our new car, is getting closer, so we decided to lift the veil and show some of its details, as well as the tools used in its creation… “
The Aston Martin presentation is scheduled for February 12.
