Yesterday, the traditional Grammy ceremony – awards given for outstanding achievements in the music industry – took place in the United States for the 66th time. It seems that this event, despite its significance, has nothing to do with motorsport, but the Ferrari team reacted to it and commented on it in their own way.
We quote: “We know who should have won the Grammy.” And then several musical themed emoji were added.
All this is accompanied by a photo of Charles Leclerc, the Italian team driver, who last year introduced fans to his own work for the first time, unveiling three instrumental compositions dedicated to three specific races of the season: the Australian Grand Prix, Miami and Monaco.
We once talked about these works by Charles, who discovered his passion for music a few years ago, and about the fact that the recent video with which he accompanied the news of the renewal of his contract with Ferrari also includes a soundtrack of which he was a co-author.
All jokes aside, if Leclerc stays creative and has enough material, publishing an album won’t be a problem at all, and there will be a demand for it, considering the number of fans Charles has, especially female fans.
And here I want to give free rein to my imagination: against the background of the news that Leclerc’s partner from next year will be Lewis Hamilton, who has also been involved in music for a long time, why not assume that they will not only make an interesting duet on the road? However, this is not a fact; they are too different people. Although all kinds of miracles happen in Formula 1.
Returning to the Grammy ceremony, we can add that no miracles happened there: Taylor Swift’s Midnights was declared the best album of the year – this is already the fourth prize in the creative biography of the 34-year-old American singer. Besides, no one has ever won that many Grammys for Album of the Year.
You may also remember that Taylor Swift gave a concert in Austin during the US Grand Prix several years ago, so there is still a connection between music and Formula 1, albeit conditionally.
