Business “Red Bull » opened an independent internal investigation against the head of its Formula 1 team of the same name Christian Horner the organization said in a statement cited by De Telegraaf.
According to media reports, the reason was the accusations made by one of the employees.
“After becoming aware of some recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation. The process is carried out by an external specialist lawyer.
The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as quickly as possible,” Red Bull said in a statement.
Horner, 50, denies the charges against him.
“I completely deny these allegations,” the official said.
Horner has been at the helm of the Red Bull team since 2005.
