Today is an important day for Ferrari: at the team’s base in Maranello they started the engine of the new car for the first time. These F1-24s will be used by Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz next season, but the equipment produced in previous years also continues.
During this period, the Scuderia gives its drivers the opportunity to get into shape quickly, and today Carlos Sainz was behind the wheel of the F1-75, the 2022 car, at the factory circuit in Fiorano. This was reported by Ferrari’s press service, but without any details.
However, it is known that the same car was driven in the morning by Arthur Leclerc, Charles’ younger brother, who recently joined the team – his main task is to help Ferrari refine the car and work on the simulator. But to do it well, he needs experience driving a real car, and today he continued to gather it. And a week ago he got behind the wheel of the F1-75 for the first time during private tests in Barcelona.
