The Italian company Piquadro, which produces backpacks, bags, suitcases and accessories for business and travel, has become an official supplier of Visa RB. In the new season, team employees and riders will use the products during flights to stages.
Peter Bayer, Executive Director of Visa RB: “Formula 1 is constantly evolving thanks to a calendar of 24 races taking place on four continents. With each team member flying between 50 and 70 flights per year, we can now count on Piquadro to supply us with cases that are strong, functional and durable.
Now we have one less thing to worry about when we sit on a plane before takeoff and look out the window at our luggage waiting to be loaded in the rain or the blazing sun.
Functionality is extremely important, but so is the design and quality of the suitcases. I’m sure you understand that Italian taste is close to our hearts.”
