Former Honda F1 Project Managing Director Masashi Yamamoto will continue to work with Red Bull Racing in a team advisory role and will be responsible for communication between Red Bull Powertrains and Honda employees.
On the eve of the stages in France and Hungary, after which the Formula 1 participants go on summer vacation, Yamamoto made a prediction about the balance of power.
“I think the track in France is more suitable for the Red Bull car, so we can’t afford to stumble,” Japan’s As-Web quoted Yamamoto as saying. – As for the race in Hungary, I have a feeling that Ferrari will win as their car accelerates more efficiently out of slow and medium corners. However, Red Bull will come up with something to counter this.
I want us to finish the last two races before the summer break in good shape.”
