A hearing began in London on Friday with the participation of Christian Horner, who is accused of inappropriate behavior.
The investigation was launched by Red Bull’s parent company after it received a complaint from a Red Bull Racing employee who allegedly accused Horner of “controlling her behavior and text messages”. The hearing will last several hours and the verdict is expected to be handed down next week.
It is possible that Christian Horner will be dismissed from his position as head of Red Bull Racing following the outcome of the proceedings. ESPN sources say Horner has been asked to resign voluntarily, but he has no plans to do so.
The presentation of the new Red Bull RB20 is scheduled for February 15. The team expects to resolve the matter of the allegations against Christian Horner before this date.
