On Friday, Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner, who is accused of misconduct, answered questions from an invited lawyer. The team hoped that the problem would be resolved with some outcome for Horner before the presentation of the new RB20 car, scheduled for February 15, but the procedure will take more time.
According to The Race, the investigation into the Horner case could take several more weeks and it is not a fact that it will be concluded before the first stage of the season in Bahrain.
The lawyer who interviewed Horner will prepare a report and send it to Red Bull’s parent company in Austria, and Red Bull management will decide Horner’s future based on the report’s findings.
Journalists from The Race contacted the Red Bull Racing team’s press office for comment, but they responded that all questions regarding the matter had been forwarded to Austria.
