Carlos Sainz starts the season knowing this is his last year at Ferrari – Lewis Hamilton will replace him in 2025. The Spaniard does not know where he will continue his career, but understands that this decision will play an important role…
Carlos Sainz: “I don’t know yet which team I will play for. There is time to think. There are many options and I have a big decision to make in the coming months.
The scenario has changed. I probably have the most important three or four years of my career ahead of me, so I want to make sure I’m in the right place at the right time. There’s no need to rush. You need to think about it calmly, listen to all proposals, consider all options.
Before me lies my fourth season as a Ferrari driver. It’s a privilege. After Ferrari you can go to any team, it is a good school and has a high status. I won races for Ferrari, started from pole and was on the podium. I think I helped this team get better, I have a positive feeling about these seasons.
I’m looking forward to seeing what the future has in store for me, and I’m sure everything will work out fine.”
