Sebastian Vettel drives a 1922 Aston Martin

On the eve of the French Grand Prix, Aston Martin drivers Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll spoke about the features of the Paul Ricard circuit and their expectations for the weekend, in which Vettel will drive a 1922 Aston Martin as part of the centenary celebrations of the company.

Sebastian Vettel: “Paul Ricard’s fast corners should be given a new light by the ground effect of the cars, and the slower corners will be a real challenge for everyone.

The past few weekends have not been good for us for some reason, so it will be nice to get some results before the summer break.

Finally, I would like to add that I am interested in the history of our sport, so it is a great honor for me to be on the track this weekend in the original 1922 Aston Martin race.

Lance Walk: “The Paul Ricard circuit is quite difficult with many corners and long winding sections at the end of the circle. This year, the ground effect cars contribute to an exciting battle, so I hope we will please the fans with an interesting show.

The team is in for a very special weekend as we celebrate Aston Martin’s centenary. I hope we get a good result this weekend.”
