FIA discusses further measures to eliminate swing

At the Belgian Grand Prix, a technical director will come into force, who will allow the FIA to control the build-up of cars on the straights, although the directive was originally intended to apply as early as the stage in France would be.

As Racingnews365 has managed to find out, the next meeting of the FIA will take place on Wednesday, where the federation will discuss further measures to counter the effects of the build-up of cars. The meeting will be attended by FIA technical director Nicholas Tombasis and other senior officials, including those from the security department.

Apparently today’s meeting is the federation’s response to a GPDA Drivers’ Association survey of its members, with the majority calling on the FIA to amend the regulations to eliminate the build-up.

The results of the meeting are expected to be presented to the team leaders during the French Grand Prix.
