RB driver Daniel Ricciardo set the fastest time during the first free practice sessions for the Bahrain Grand Prix, the opening stage of the new Formula 1 season.
The Australian’s best lap time was 1 minute 32.869 seconds. Second was McLaren’s Lando Norris (+0.032 seconds), followed by teammate Oscar Piastri (+0.244).
The second free practice session will take place later on Thursday.
