The Spanish pilot’s result is 1 minute 30.824 seconds. Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) occupies second place, while reigning champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) completes the leading trio.
Qualifying will take place on Friday at 19:00 Moscow time, and the race will take place on Saturday.
