Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez are optimistically looking forward to the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia. Both Red Bull Racing drivers expect to win the upcoming race.
Max Verstappen: “The team has had a great first race of the season and I am looking forward to the stage in Jeddah on a fast city circuit, characterized by less rubber degradation.
Compared to Bahrain, the weather is expected to be warmer, so it will be interesting to evaluate the difference in speed of all teams, as the track configuration is radically different from the one we raced on last week.
Last year the stage in Jeddah was successful for us. I hope we will show a similar result this time, and an excellent performance from the whole team.”
Sergio Perez: “I’m looking forward to the weekend in Jeddah after the team’s excellent result in Bahrain. For me, not everything went perfectly in the first race of the season – there is still a lot to be done with the car, but we have a good basis for further work.
Normally the race in Jeddah is eventful, and this time the battle could be fierce. Last year I achieved a nice victory and I would like to repeat that result.”
