The Sauber team announced a cooperation agreement with Swedish truck manufacturer Scania.
The company has been granted official supplier status and the team will use its trucks to transport race cars and equipment during the European legs of the season.
Alessandro Aluni Bravi, team spokesperson: “We are pleased to welcome Scania as the team’s official supplier. In a business like Formula 1, logistics plays an important role in the success of any team, so having reliable and safe vehicles to transport our equipment is fundamental.
Like the Sauber team, Scania has a strong focus on sustainability, making them a valuable partner to our team as we strive for a more sustainable future for motorsport. With Scania we have an experienced partner and we are ready for cooperation.”
