In Jeddah, Lewis Hamilton said he doesn’t like the constant off-track scandals…
Lewis Hamilton: “I don’t like what I see. As someone who loves the sport, I am absolutely disappointed with what is going on. It looks bad from the outside and bad from the inside. I believe that our sport must now show that we stick to our values and are responsible for our actions.
This is a turning point for the sport in terms of what we show to the world. And so far it hasn’t worked very well, we haven’t shown enough transparency, and that’s really a key element.
Hopefully this year will not continue in the same vein, but will highlight some of the issues we need to solve within the sport.
We talk about diversity, inclusion and people needing to feel comfortable in this environment, and that’s clearly not the case.”
