Dutch pilotRed Bull » Max Verstappen achieved the best time during the first free practice session of the second stage of the Formula 1 championship – the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
During the first practice session at the Jeddah circuit, reigning world champion Verstappen set the fastest lap in 1 minute 29.659 seconds. The second was the Spanish Aston Martin driver Fernando Alonso (+0.186), the third was the Mexican Sergio Perez (+0.209; Red Bull).
Later on Thursday, the drivers will start the second free practice session.
