Haas F1 is happy with Friday’s results – Kevin Magnussen showed eighth fastest time…
Kevin Magnussen (8th): “Nice day. In the course of the day we noticeably came to it. Everything didn’t look good in the first practice, but we made some adjustments and got the pace we wanted. I hope we will have a good third practice and qualifying tomorrow.
It’s great that the team is getting more and more speed out of the car, despite the lack of new products. I look forward to measuring our pace as we receive these new additions.”
Mick Schumacher (19th): “Sometimes you want to try to go through the corner at the limit, which I did – you can gain a lot back in that corner, but I overdid it. The set of tires was damaged and I couldn’t do a long series of laps.
In the morning the car looked better than in the afternoon – you have to figure it out. However, I see no reason to stop us from bringing it back to the working range.
