The Ferrari drivers worked well on Thursday in Jeddah, but the sick Carlos Sainz has not yet fully recovered…
Charles Leclerc (4th): “The grip was good from the start, and we can expect even better tomorrow. The results are very close, I am curious who will get more out of the car in qualifying.”
Carlos Sainz (7th): “The day turned out to be difficult for me. I haven’t fully recovered from the illness that has kept me in bed for the past 24 hours and I still don’t feel well. However, I arrived on track and was able to get the most out of both training sessions.
The Jeddah circuit offers good grip and the high-speed corners demand a lot from the cars and drivers. And even though I couldn’t do my best today, we completed the program. Hopefully tomorrow I will be fully recovered and we can concentrate on preparing for qualifying and the race.”
