The most successful car of the seven-time “Formula 1” world champion Michael Schumacher will be sold. The Ferrari F300, driven by a German driver during the 1998 season, will be exhibited in the United States.
This car on chassis 187 won the four races in which it took part. These races were the Canadian Grand Prix, the French Grand Prix, the British Grand Prix and the Italian Grand Prix. Chassis 187 is the only Ferrari chassis to have participated in at least three races and won each of them, according to auction organizers.
The car has yet to receive a pre-auction appraisal, but another F300 was on sale earlier this year for $4.9 million, according to the Motor Authority.
Schumacher suffered a serious head injury in an accident at the end of 2013. His current condition is being kept secret by the Schumacher family.
