The next French Grand Prix will be for Lewis Hamilton (“Mercedes”) 300th career race.
The Briton will become only the sixth driver in history to start 300 Formula 1 races. Previously, this mark had been surpassed by Kimi Raikkonen (349 races), Fernando Alonso (345), Rubens Barrichello (322), Michael Schumacher (306) and Jenson Button (306). However, none of them managed to win the race after reaching the 300 race mark.
On Saturday, the French Grand Prix is scheduled for the third free practice and qualifying.
Hamilton sits sixth in the drivers standings.
