Klin: Red Bull’s advantage has become even greater

Former Formula 1 driver Christian Klien thinks that Red Bull Racing’s advantage is even more dominant than before…

In an interview with RacingNews365, Klin said: “Red Bull had no competitors in Jeddah. They are still in a class of their own. If anyone hoped that in Jeddah, on a track with faster corners, the fight would be fiercer, but the opposite turned out: their advantage became even greater.

There was a feeling that the Red Bull pilots did not have to work as hard as the others in the race, that the car still had a lot of reserve.

Ferrari is still far behind. On average they lose about half a second per lap, although the race pace was very high this weekend.

Mercedes has disappointed again. The feeling is the same as last year and the year before, as if they don’t understand their car. In particular, they did not understand why they lost time in high-speed corners. They started the weekend well but seemed to get slower and slower with each session compared to the others.”
