The Ferrari team has started the season with confidence and currently has the second fastest car in the championship. In the first two races, Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc took turns on the podium and only lost to champion Red Bull Racing.
The Scuderia is satisfied with the efficiency of the new SF-24 and is preparing further innovations, about which the Italian press has managed to find out some details.
In April the car remained virtually unchanged – minor updates are expected in the Japan and China stages. The team is preparing a major package of aerodynamic updates for the home stage in Imola, which takes place from May 17 to 19.
During the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix, Leclerc and Sainz’s cars will receive new side pontoons and a new underbody, which will be an evolutionary development of the current versions of these elements.
It was previously announced that McLaren was preparing major new products for the races in Imola or Monaco.
