At the beginning of March, Red Bull rejected a complaint of ‘inappropriate conduct’ filed by a Red Bull Racing employee against team boss Christian Horner. After some time, the employee herself was suspended, but she still had the right to appeal, which the woman decided to take advantage of.
The British edition of Mail Online quotes the words of an unnamed acquaintance of a Red Bull Racing employee: “She is very disappointed about what happened, especially because she did everything according to the rules, but now she feels disappointed about the company actions.
She was suspended even though she followed the established procedure. She was suspended from a job she loves and a sport in which she is highly regarded. She has received no support and is very disappointed in the treatment she has received from her employer.
Look what happened. She filed a complaint, which would have led to a transparent, independent investigation, acquitted Horner and then dismissed her from office.”
Red Bull Racing has not yet officially confirmed the filing of an appeal.
