The team pulled the Spaniard out of the pit stop dangerously close to Alexander Albon’s (Williams) car. The drivers entered the pit lane when the safety car appeared on the track after another Ferrari representative, Charles Leclerc, who was leading the race after starting from pole position, retired.

Albon had to brake hard, overtaking Sainz, who jumped right in front of him. The pilot of “Williams” miraculously managed to avoid an accident.
