Daniel Ricciardo is optimistically looking forward to the start of the home stage…
Daniel Ricciardo: “The Australian stage is just around the corner! I’m home, I feel great, it’s warm and sunny here, I’m looking forward to the start of the weekend with impatience and optimism. I am aiming for a good result and I hope the season starts in Melbourne.”
Yuki Tsunoda: “I love Melbourne, I love the track and the fans. The configuration includes fast and medium-fast corners, a few slow sections in the last sector – a great combination! Last year I gained points in Australia and I hope to do well this week.
Between Saudi Arabia and Melbourne my schedule was busy. I’ve been working mainly on the simulator and I think I’m ready for the next race, although it’s hard to say now how everything will go. It is important to do everything right, to work as efficiently as possible – that is what we will focus on.
I will do my best and hope to qualify for the final again and earn points in the race. That’s the goal!”
