Lando Norris: “Ferrari and Leclerc or Sainz are on pole this weekend.
In our first training everything didn’t go so well, we just rode faster than our opponents. I don’t think anything can be judged from these results. It is clear that Ferrari and Red Bull are far ahead. Even Aston Martin is slightly ahead of us here.
This circuit is not particularly suitable for our car; there is no route where we would consistently be the fastest. In each sector we lose a little, especially in the twisty turns of the third sector.
It became clear on Friday that Red Bull and Ferrari are too fast for us – there is no point in focusing on them. This weekend our rivals are Mercedes and Aston Martin.”
