The information gathered over the past two days suggests that the Medium-Hard-Hard two-stop strategy will be the fastest. However, no one has done a long series of laps with the Hard tires yet, so the unknown factor remains. Although C3 is the best studied of the five compounds homologated this year.
Controlling tire granulation will be critical as Australian highway asphalt does not improve over time but becomes covered in worms.
