After Friday’s accident, only one Williams driver was involved: Alex Albon who drove Logan Sargent’s car…
Dave Robsonchief engineer: “The team is very angry that only one of our cars went on track today, this cannot happen again.
Despite the disappointment and frustration, the entire team came together last night and installed a new power unit and gearbox on the car Logan used on Friday. It was an impressive performance by an extremely determined, proud and professional group of people.”
Alex Albon (12th): “No one would want to race in a partner’s car, and I don’t want that either. It’s one thing to make a mistake in the first practice and then correct it by getting a good result in qualifying. I take responsibility for what happened.
All I can do is concentrate on the work, put everything behind me, treat it like a normal weekend and fight for the points.”
