This year, the former AlphaTauri not only changed its name, but also its working method. While the team previously developed many components themselves, they now buy everything that is allowed according to the regulations from Red Bull Racing.

Every race weekend I just reset myself because every track is different. But our car is quite stable, which was not the case last year. This stability allows me to make progress and work on myself. In Australia I didn’t make any mistakes, which is very important for me and the team. Now we are improving every race and have confidence in the future.
I am impressed by this progress. In Melbourne we constantly used a higher gear in a few corners compared to last year’s car. The team has done an excellent job expanding the staff and working with the machine. In the second half of last season we brought new products to almost every race, and those efforts paid off.”
