Ferrari team boss Frederic Vasseur thinks pressure from Scuderia will force Red Bull rivals to make mistakes…
Frederic Vasseur: “The weekend in Melbourne clearly showed that if we manage to get everything together, and I’m not sure if we can do this every weekend anymore, we will put a bit of pressure on them. Under pressure, Red Bull can make mistakes.
From the first lap and the first day we were in a good position, everything went smoothly, so on Sunday our car was the best.
This year we have taken a big step. The car is much easier to drive, much more predictable and much easier to develop. At the beginning of the weekend we understand which way to go when setting up.
Trust is a key factor in our company. We feel much more confident now, even though this feeling started at the end of last season.”
