In Maranello the entire Scuderia celebrated the winning double

Anyone who watched the broadcast of the Australian Grand Prix will remember the genuine joy with which the Ferrari team received the winning double from Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, but now everyone has the opportunity to relive the key events of that weekend experience with the Scuderia.

Today the team shared a video from the SF Full Access series, dedicated to the events of the Melbourne weekend, and together with operators from the Ferrari press office we can explore where not everyone is allowed on race days.

It is interesting that before starting work on the track, Leclerc did not hide his optimism, while Sainz did not yet know what awaited him and cautiously said that he had to find out how he would feel first.

And then there was qualifying, where Carlos showed a 2nd result, while his partner only finished 5th. Naturally, the road to victory was open after Max Verstappen stopped on the third lap, but in fact the Spaniard overtook him one lap earlier.

Perhaps the main theme of the 8-minute video is precisely those moments of unbridled joy, true happiness, which Ferrari employees do not experience so often, but this time the holiday came to the streets of the Italian team.

And today it continued in Maranello: all employees gathered at the team’s base to celebrate their success together. Frederic Vasseur spoke to them, personally told them how everything went over the weekend in Albert Park, and tried to get everyone ready for new exploits.

After this, a small selection of photos appeared on Ferrari’s social media pages and this short note: “We all celebrate the victorious double together! The result of the Australian Grand Prix fully demonstrated our team spirit and collaboration, both on track and in Maranello.”
