Flavio Briatore, former Renault team boss and manager of Fernando Alonso, has undergone heart surgery. He himself spoke about this on social networks, adding that he had already been discharged from the hospital in Milan and after the operation he had begun the recovery procedure.
“After a routine physical examination, I underwent heart surgery,” Flavio wrote. – I was diagnosed with a benign tumor, which was removed using a minimally invasive procedure using endoscopic technology.
The operation was a success and I would like to thank Professor Francesco Maisano, the team of cardiac surgeons in the intensive care unit and the fantastic first ward at San Raffaele Hospital.”
For Flaivo Briatore, this is not the first operation to remove tumors. In 2006, he had surgery on his left kidney after a malignant tumor was discovered.
