Robin Raikkonen, Kimi’s 9-year-old son, achieved another victory in karting yesterday: the competition in the RM Micro class took place on a karting track on the outskirts of Zurich.
Robin was ahead of ten other young racers and repeated his feat a week ago – after which, on the same circuit, starting from pole, he won the first stage of the season of the Swiss series, which is called Frühlings Kart Cup Wohlen, i.e. “Spring Cup of the Woolen -kart track.”
Not only his parents are happy with Robin’s success, although they, of course, are his biggest fans, and Kimi, as always, helped his son and performed the duties of coach and mechanic. Raikkonen Jr. was also warmly praised by Gino Rosato, his godfather and one of Kimi’s best friends since the Ferrari days: “I am very proud of Robin! Continue in the same vein, Formula 1 is waiting for you!”
By the way, Robin Raikkonen has his own account on social networks, which is managed by his parents, and every post about his success in motorsports receives tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of positive comments.
