Rene Rosin: Prema will have a great line-up!

The Prema Racing team has officially confirmed that they plan to release two cars with Chevrolet engines at the start of the 2025 IndyCar season, although there is not much time left for that.

During today’s press conference in Indianapolis, Prema executives explained how they plan to act to resolve any issues facing the new IndyCar team.

“I’m basically starting with a clean slate,” admitted Pierce Phillips, head of IndyCar’s Prema program. – We have to solve the problems of purchasing the necessary equipment, hiring staff, arranging the base of the team, etc. But we will try to combine the American and European racing cultures and, together with our partners at Chevrolet, create a progressive develop approaches for solving organizational problems. Overall, our main task now is to create this new team.”

“We want to have one experienced IndyCar driver and one newcomer, because we have always worked with young people,” continues René Rosin, head of Prema Racing. “On the other hand, we are not afraid of any scenario, because we have to understand which one offers the best opportunities for our team.

The course of events in the next few months will determine our further actions, our approach to solving all the problems we face, and after that we will be ready to share some news.

There are many different racers on our radar screen, but for now I don’t want to mention any specific names, because we first need to establish the team’s work as best as possible, but I promise you will hear some interesting news from us soon. I think Prema will have a great line-up!”
