The Williams team became the founders of a new company called Williams Grand Prix Technologies. It will specialize in providing technical services to customers in areas other than Formula 1, but will use technology developed and proven on the track.
Together with William Racing, the American investment fund Dorilton Capital has become co-owner of the new company, which will be located on the territory of the team’s technology campus in Grove.
Matthew SavageDirector of Williams Grand Prix Engineering Limited: “We are delighted to be establishing our new company, which will provide innovative solutions based on Formula 1 technology to a wide range of industries.
Williams Grand Prix Technologies is a unique combination of technical experience, knowledge and technological capabilities that will solve various problems for our customers, and even before the team presented, we saw how great their interest was.
We will apply our skills and capabilities, as well as all of Williams’ achievements, based on half a century of experience competing in motorsport competitions at the highest level.”
