Ecclestone: Horner will not be dropped from team

Bernie Ecclestone believes that the scandalous ‘Horner affair’, which caused a crisis situation at Red Bull Racing, is largely behind him and we can expect the process of a peaceful settlement to be completed.

The former head of Formula 1 management was once a witness at the wedding of Christian Horner, still maintains friendly relations with him and, as a rule, knows what he is talking about.

“There will be an end to the peace, and Christian assures me that he and his wife are fine,” Ecclestone told the Daily Mail. We are of course talking about the fact that the consequences of an extremely unpleasant story with accusations of “inappropriate behavior” brought forward by one of the team employees against Horner have already been overcome.

However, this Red Bull Racing employee, whose name the official press still does not want to mention, seems to have appealed by contacting a certain American law firm, so the end has not yet been determined.

However, 93-year-old Ecclestone confirmed that the situation in the championship team is gradually returning to normal.

“It looks like Max Verstappen will stay and all wars seem to be over because people have noticed and we have to move on,” he continued. – After the Second World War, Germany could no longer be mentioned out loud, and that is understandable, but not much time passed and people started buying Mercedes cars again. So I don’t see any reason why anyone would want to kick Christian off the team; Obviously it won’t get to that point.

Time heals everything perfectly, and he copes well with his work, and after a few weeks noticeable changes in the situation are visible. Geri (Geri Halliwell, former member of the popular Spice Girls project, married Horner in the spring of 2015) supports him and the whole team is doing well. Logically, there is no reason to upset this balance.”
