Massa: It’s interesting to see Lewis driving a Ferrari

Felipe Massa’s career lasted fifteen years, and for more than ten years Lewis Hamilton was one of his rivals on the World Cup circuits. When the future winner of seven titles made his debut in Formula 1 with McLaren, the Brazilian was spending his second season with Ferrari and had already opened his victory book.

Sports fate determined that a year later it was they who fought for victory in the championship, and everyone remembers how the 2008 season ended – Hamilton won the title by a margin of one point, and Massa became vice-champion, and this is still not the case give him peace.

Years later he and his lawyers sued the FIA, insisting that the results of that season not be revised, although it is clear that the prospects for this venture are very doubtful. But that’s another story, but for now Massa commented on Hamilton’s upcoming switch to Ferrari on British radio station talkSPORT.

“Since Lewis decided to say goodbye to Mercedes, Ferrari are in for big changes next year,” reasoned Felipe. “I think it’s great, it’s a very interesting turn of events.” This is also good in terms of marketing, because everyone talks about it.

It is of course very interesting to see Lewis in a red jumpsuit driving a red car. I think the fans are just going to go crazy. I hope he can get a competitive car at his disposal, because so far Ferrari is inferior to Red Bull. Let’s see if the Scuderia can fight them in 2025.

We will also see how Lewis’ partnership with Ferrari turns out, and how he deals with Charles Leclerc. The rivalry between them promises to be very interesting. But I am happy for Ferrari, for Formula 1, because this benefits the entire championship.”
