The team from Faenza has been running a program for several years together with the international recruitment agency Randstad to train young specialists, the best of whom can find work in Formula 1.
A new intake has been announced today for the Formula Future Engineering Academy: 23 young professionals who dream of working in F1 will be selected to study at the Visa RB facility in Faenza.
Those candidates fortunate enough to be accepted into the academy will have the opportunity to intern with the team throughout the training period, including working directly with leading Visa RB engineers.
Acceptance of applications from interested parties ends on May 10. 250 young engineers who have studied at this academy in recent years have already been given the opportunity to continue working in motorsport.
Othello Valenti, HR Director at Visa RB: “In our team we believe that success depends on two key factors: people and company culture. Our goal is to give people the opportunity to realize their ideas, so that talented young people work together with experienced specialists in an atmosphere conducive to highly effective work.
Our team continuously invests in research and development and seeks to implement innovative organizational solutions. That is why we are happy that our Formula Future-2024 project has already started in collaboration with Randstad, because we are connected to this company by a common ideology: we strive to achieve success through self-improvement.”
In addition to the Engineering Academy, which trains young engineers and designers to learn the ins and outs of building a Formula 1 car, the Manufacturing Academy will also start recruiting in a few months, where students will take in-depth courses in a range of disciplines related to the high-precision machining of components and composite technologies.
