Lewis Hamilton will continue his career at Ferrari in 2025. Former Formula 1 head Bernie Ecclestone said he finds the seven-time world champion’s decision strange.

But I don’t think they’ve ever had a relationship where they could completely trust each other. Obviously, no such relationship existed, which is why Hamilton suddenly decided to leave.
His decision came as a big surprise to me because I don’t understand why he announced the decision a year in advance. Why didn’t Lewis wait to announce and make it during the season?
Ferrari thinks they made a smart deal by bringing him in, but I think Lewis went into it all to stroke his ego.

Bernie Ecclestone added that he would not invite Hamilton to his team: “There are too many unnecessary complications. In a sense, Lewis is really in charge at Mercedes.
