Rumors about Max Verstappen’s possible departure from Red Bull Racing continue unabated, despite boss Christian Horner’s announcement that Max will continue to drive for the team in 2025.
The Austrian publication OE24 reports, based on sources, that negotiations will take place between Mercedes management and representatives of Max Verstappen at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. The current world champion is offered a multi-year contract with which he will earn no less than 150 million euros per year, including bonuses.
In addition, Max will be offered a Mercedes brand ambassador contract, which will continue after Verstappen retires.
Mercedes has reportedly offered a job to Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko. Apparently the Mercedes management has agreed in advance with Verstappen, who has repeatedly said that he wants to continue the collaboration with Marco.
