Driver “Mercedes” Lewis Hamilton and russian runner Daniel Kvyat on Twitter turned to the Aston Martin speaker Sebastian Vettel who will retire from Formula 1 after the 2022 season.
“Seb, it was an honor to call you a rival and an even greater honor to call you my friend. Leaving this sport better than you found it is always the goal.
I have no doubt that what lies ahead will be exciting, meaningful and rewarding. I love you man,” Hamilton wrote.
Also, Russian driver Daniil Kvyat joined in the congratulations.

Vettel, 35, is third in F1 Grand Prix victories (53), behind only Hamilton (103) and Michael Schumacher (91). The German rider of “Red Bull” became four times world champion (2010-2013).
He made his Formula 1 debut at the United States Grand Prix in 2007.
