A few weeks ago we talked about Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s debut tests behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car – then the Mercedes youth program driver worked for two days in Spielberg, driving a W13.
Apparently the team is seriously betting on the young Italian, who will not turn 18 until the end of August, and is creating all the conditions for his intensive training.
Yesterday Kimi again drove a 2022 model car, but this time during tests at Imola. There was no information from Mercedes about this event, but the ubiquitous fans – let’s call them “spotters” – were able to capture Antonelli’s work on the track on video.
In addition, you can quote the comment of one of those who watched this video and asked this question: “Why doesn’t the FIA use the same microphones? The V6 turbo engines actually sound quite good.”
We will make an adjustment: the organization of race broadcasts is not carried out by the FIA, but by a special division of Formula 1, but these are already details.
