Sergio Perez believes the next four races will be crucial for his title chances. For the Hungarian Grand Prix, the Red Bull Racing driver takes third place in the individual standings, behind leading partner Max Verstappen with 70 points.
“There are still a lot of races ahead of us,” said Sergio Perez. – I didn’t have the best performance in the last leg, but I finished fourth and scored a lot of points. The last meetings proved to be much more painful for me – they hit my chances in the championship much harder.
We are going to do some testing this weekend and I hope we have a smooth stage. I feel comfortable in the car and I hope we will solve the problems that have held me back in the last stage, and I will get back the form I showed throughout the season. The next four races will be crucial for my chances in the championship.”
