Lando Norris: “I just cut myself. A small piece of broken glass. It made it look worse than it actually was. People jumped to conclusions, but it’s only a small cut. I wanted to spend a few days with friends, and everything worked out, and from there I flew straight to Miami.
Now I am recognized everywhere, including through Drive to Survive, and not just by racing fans. Yes, I’m more popular than I was a few years ago, and I don’t always like it. But I have nothing to complain about.
It’s not always when you’re dining or going somewhere with your family that you want to be recognized. But there’s always someone watching. However, for those who are significantly more popular, things are much worse. I’m sure many people would like to drive in Formula 1, but you always win something and lose something.”
