Previously, the media reported that the parties would hold negotiations on a possible transfer of Max to the German team at the stages in Miami (May 3-5) and Imola (May 17-19).
“Now my future is linked to Red Bull. As for the 150 million euro contract, even if it were, money is not the main criterion for me. I’m happy with what I’m already earning at Red Bull. I know that if I fight for 5th or 6th place, I will be very irritable”, quotes Verstappen on RMC Sport.
Max Verstappen has driven for Red Bull since 2016. It is with the Austrian team that he won three championship titles. Verstappen currently leads the Formula 1 overall standings for the 2024 season, having claimed four wins in five races this campaign.
